How it all started...

Sometimes you have to follow your gut… Mimi decided last fall, even though it was not an ideal time, that she should take the leap to travel to England for a training in “Life Planning.” She invited Susan to travel with her, because how could she go to England without an adventure, and who better than Susan for that?

Not only did they have a fabulous time hiking, eating, exploring, and meeting lots of dogs (and their owners), but they also realized they shared a common desire to set out on a new path at this point in their lives. Susan’s seed of an idea to establish a community of women in their “Third Act,” something she’d been nurturing for some time, resonated with Mimi on a deep level. This seed began to grow between them and is now taking root and blossoming as we launch The Good News Girls community!

We decided to share a bunch of our travel photos with our members–the fun and exhilaration we experienced is why we will be offering travel opportunities for our members. Third Act travel adventures are just too good to keep to ourselves!
